Local Scholarship Spotlight 
R. B. Doolin Scholarships *District Scholarship* 
Deadline: March 14th, 2014 The North Kansas City PTA Council partners with the Education Foundation 
to provide three $500 scholarships at each of the district’s four high schools. Members of the selection 
committee consider financial need first, followed by a student’s GPA. 
DETALS: Extracurricular involvement, leadership activities, demonstrated financial need, plan to attend 
college after high school. Members of the selection committee consider financial need first, followed by a 
student’s GPA. All application materials are to be turned into the Oak Park Counseling Office by March 14. 
Final applications, along with the counselor report, will be submitted to the NKC Schools Education

*	Reminder that tutoring is available Tuesday & Wednesday from 2:30 to 4:30 in the LMC. 
Transportation is provided.
Freshman members of the class of 2017~we are taking orders for your class t-shirts. T-shirts are $7.00 & 
the order form is attached. See Mrs. Dameron or one of your class officers, Tya Stigger,  Joey Anello, Mahasin 
Tutu, Kyndal Smith or Nick Anello for details.
