- Students submitting their application and materials by our December 1st Early Action deadline will be among the first to receive an admissions decision in December.

MIZZOU LAND GRANT
Missouri Land GrantThe Missouri Land Grant may be awarded to all undergraduate Missouri residents* who are full-time Pell Grant eligible during the fall and spring terms and are working towards their first undergraduate degree at the University of Missouri. For those eligible, the grant will cover all tuition and fees not covered by other grants or scholarships. On a case-by-case basis, you may be asked to provide additional documentation from your parent(s) or other individuals not listed on the FAFSA to help us determine your eligibility for the Missouri Land Grant.
*A Missouri resident is defined as being classified as a Missouri resident for tuition purposes at the time of initial application to the University of Missouri.

UCM Mule Grant Scholarship
The University of Central Missouri has announced the brand new Mule Grant and your students may be eligible! Students who qualify for the Mule Grant will pay no tuition and general fees after federal, state and institutional grants and scholarships are first applied.* The Mule Grant will cover any remaining tuition and general fees allowing students to graduate with less debt.
Eligibility Requirements:
Students who have all tuition and general fees covered through Pell, Access Missouri or other traditional institutional/external scholarships will not receive the Mule Grant.

UMKC will provide automatic, renewable scholarships for any student who enrolls from those two districts. Furthermore, students from both districts can earn college credit on the UMKC campus before high school graduation for added savings.
The money is good each year for five years, and it can be combined with any other award.

Scholarships will be awarded to unique full-time students who are pursuing an associate degree with a biology emphasis. Incoming freshmen receive up to $7,500 annually for two years ($15,000 total). Scholarship recipients will be part of a learning community through which they will be assigned a faculty mentor and can actively participate in high impact science activities.

- Major in the biology pathway, AS, or AGS (an Associate degree with a biology emphasis).
- Have financial need as determined by the FAFSA and KCKCC financial aid department (Pell Grant eligible). Completion of the 2024-2025 FAFSA is required (see below).
- Demonstrate academic talent or potential in which the selection committee will take a holistic view of each student candidate.
- Maintain full-time status (minimum 12 credit hours per semester) and at least a 2.0 GPA while at KCKCC
- Agree to participate in an asset-based mentoring program and participate in scholarship program activities.

UMKC is committed to making college affordable. With the Roo Advantage Scholarship, all qualified full-time, Pell-eligible Missouri and Kansas residents will automatically receive funds to cover the gap between gift aid (scholarships and grants) and any remaining tuition and fees

The Henry W. Bloch Scholars Program was created for local students with a determination to succeed, regardless of their finances, test scores or life circumstances. It does not require a certain GPA, ACT score or class rank to apply.
To be considered for the program, students must:
- Live in one of these five area counties: Clay, Jackson and Platte in Missouri, and Johnson and Wyandotte in Kansas
- Submit FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) and demonstrate financial need (eligible or nearly eligible for the Federal Pell Grant Program)
- Plan to enroll full time to earn a four-year degree in a standard undergraduate program (students entering professional programs are not eligible)
- Be unable to receive other scholarships due to academic performance and/or life circumstances
